Housing Reference | Final jury

My main references from hall house and gehry house. I quot the characteristic openning from hall house. There is a public part so the architect did not use a transparent element in that facade. He use this opening for natural light. In gehry house there are two different materials. When we look from outside, we sense that new materials and old materials gives two different functions to the house. However, when we enter to the house, we see that both of the materials for a unique function. The old part walls treat like an ordinary wall which divides the spaces. Moreover, the rectangular prism is dominant in here. It is an element which pressed in both of the parts, does not belongs to any of the parts but tries to communicate with them. I tried to create a concept which is questioning that, what if we have a unique material but two different functions inside of the house. I wondered, what will this rectangular prism looks like in this kind of an organization. So thats my interpretation. In hall house, we dont have a wall which divides the spaces. However, this recrangular prism divides both of the parts which have different functionalities.
