My climate is hot and dry and the context is detached houses around the site with similar scales. My main references from hall house and gehry house. I quote the characteristic openning from hall house. There is a public part so the architect did not use a transparent element in that facade. He use this opening for natural light. 
In gehry house there are two different materials. When we look from outside, we sense that new materials and old materials gives two different functions to the house. However, when we enter to the house, we see that both of the materials for a unique function. The old parts walls treat like an ordinary wall which divides the spaces. Moreover, the rectangular prism is dominant in here. It is an element which pressed in both of the parts, does not belongs to any of the parts but tries to communicate with them.
I tried to create a concept which is questioning that, what if we have a unique material but two different functions inside of the house. I wondered, what will this rectangular prism looks like in this kind of an organization. So thats my interpretation. In hall house, we dont have a wall which divides the spaces. However, this recrangular prism divides both of the parts which have different functionalities. The building has two enterence which are to office and living space. The enterence in office part is a reference from La Casa De Musica and the living space enterence is again from hall house.
